Hi!  I am with a rescue group in south Georgia. We have been receiving monthly updates from Maddies fund through our email. We have never joined or received financial benefits, but now that we have an ongoing record of intakes and other numbers, would like to begin!  Our group is small, and, as most of you understand too well, we are struggling to stay afloat financially. I’m not sure exactly what Maddie’s fund does or if there is financial help, so that’s why I am here!!!! Could someone give a brief explanation And tell me what to do to get started?  Tysm!!!!

Welcome to the forum, pupluv! In a nutshell, Maddie's Fund is a family foundation named after our founders' little dog, Maddie, that invests its resources in working toward a no-kill nation where every dog and cat is guaranteed a healthy home or habitat. Here's a fact sheet that tells you a little more about Maddie's Fund:  https://www.maddiesfund.org/fact-sheet.htm .

I encourage you to explore our website: www.maddiesfund.org. We have a ton of resources -- articles, interviews, webinars, blog posts, apprenticeships, flash classes, free online courses, and more -- to help your rescue group learn about and implement new programs, learn about new research, and save more lives. Visit our "Learn" page to see all of the resources available to you, your team, and your volunteers: https://www.maddiesfund.org/learn.htm

In addition to educational resources, we also provide grants. Your timing is great as our next application window for our Innovation Grants is February 11th-19th. Innovation grants can be up to $5,000 and are awarded for either: 1) implementing an innovative program that's new to your organization, or 2) redesigning an existing program in an innovative way. All of the details about these grants can be found here: https://www.maddiesfund.org/innovation.htm

Here are two other free resources you should check out:

    Maddie's University:  https://www.maddiesuniversity.org/

    Maddie's Pet Assistant:  https://www.maddiesfund.org/mpa.htm

Thanks again for joining the forum! We hope you're able to connect with others across the country to get answers to your questions, share resources, and collaborate to save more lives.

    Hi pupluv!

Would be happy to include you in any information/resources I find. My web and socials won't be up until next month but you can email me at silvercometawa@gmail.com. Glad to help however I can. Ga has a lot of need and a lot of work to do.
