    Hey everyone,

I'm new to this forum and new to having a cat my parents don't help me with. Mia has been making gurgling sounds when breathing she has mucus and having gagging not exactly dry heaving but close. Im worried any advice on what to do?

It sounds like you need to get Mia to the vet.  Any time there is breathing or extra mucus your cat needs to see a professional.  I could give you some ideas about what it MIGHT be (or what I have seen over the years of fostering), but a vet is in order here, I think...

Just got back from the appointment my Fiance took her while I was at work. Vet says it could be a development of asthma, they said to keep an eye on it to see if it gets worse. Xray is $50 I'm going to see if she gets better then if it's still there in a week or gets worse I'll take her in

Firstly, you take Mia to the vet and contact a professional and know what actually the problem is. Get the cat treated. It would be better to keep the environment clean where the cat lives since the nasty pests in the atmosphere can cause the cat's health. It is better to contact Rocklin Pest Control and avail pest control services and make the environment clean and pest free. My sister's cat was annoyed due to the mosquitoes in the surrounding she availed the pest control services.

It is a good idea to consult a veterinarian.
