    Hey there,

    We have a bit of a problem here with coccidia (confirmed via fecal float from immunocompromised dog) and are about to start using Toltrazuril 5% (aka Baycox) for the first time to help prevent a full-blown outbreak. Specifically, we're talking about dogs, mostly adults (youngest is 4 months). We and our vet have no experience with this drug and aren't clear on the dosages or protocols... we've seen everything from 10mg/kg a single time to 30mg/kg for six days.

     

    Does anyone have any insight? I haven't been able to find any consensus on this.
