    Hi,

My name is Juliana Rodriguez. I am an 18 year old who lives in Northern California. A couple of weeks ago, I found a dog roaming the streets around my home; fortunately, I was able to catch her and take her to a local shelter. She was a beautiful and sweet female pitbull who loved attention. Fast forward to now, I just received a phone call from the shelter with an update. They had told me that she was currently healthy, but they had removed cancerous lumps. They had said that her cancer would return and ultimately metastasize. Her only current options are for me to adopt her (since I was the one that found her) or for her to be put down. Considering her current health, I feel that there is much more that can be done for her rather than to be euthanized. I unfortunately cannot keep her due to financial circumstances and my instability due to going to college soon. Im reaching out with hopes that there is something anyone can do to help me find a place where she could live out the rest of her days happily. I feel she deserves to live in a loving home for the time being since she is practically healthy (despite hospice status). I have to respond tomorrow evening by 5 pm to the shelter to whether or not I will be taking her; please help me help this beautiful little girl.
