Our shelter is looking for ways to start a new paperless adoption process. We use PetPoint to process our adoptions. Any ideas of software used?

Hi Nia! Paperless is the way to go. Very cool. Sorry to answer a "question with a question," but what part of your process still involves paper? Ideally, it would be great to just stick with the software you're using and not add anything (for simplicity's sake), but depending upon where you're involving paper it might be advantageous to introduce another app or module.

We use paper applications and print out all the medical to give to the adopters. I am also experimenting with Maddies Pet Assistant.

For the applications, I'd recommend moving things over to an online form of some sort. Google Forms is relatively easy. Depending on how your website is built, you can also add forms to your site as well. Another app to look into that I've really liked is "JotForm." It's really geared toward use on a phone or tablet and they have modules to convert PDFs to forms; you can use it to capture signatures as well.

As far as printing out medical info and other records, I like simply e-mailing a PDF to adopters. For the adopters who don't have email, printing is still an option.

You should definitely try out Maddie's Pet Assistant.  Medical records will be downloaded to the adopter/foster's smartphone so they can see them and keep them updated.

You also might consider Shelterluv?  They have an easy to use paperless process that I LOVED when we had our adoption program!
