Animal Welfare Professionals

I'm attending the Cornell University / Maddie's Fund / ASPCA Shelter Medicine Conference in July and I'm road-tripping it.  I'm coming from Chicago and driving all the way through to Ithaca New York.  I'd LOVE to be able to stop and visit some animal shelters along the way -- get a tour, learn how YOU do things, meet other like-minded animal welfare professionals.

Is anyone along my route that would be willing to have my assistant and I stop in for a visit? 

Anyone stuck at the philly airport trying to get to the conference? Having to fly into Rochester then rent a car and drive.  Hoping that one doesnt cancel
