We are launching a senior cats for senior people foster care program this month at our cat rescue, and I was wondering if anyone else has this program?  We are excited and think it will connect our older, harder to place cats with those seeking companionship.

Has anyone started this program?  Can you share any successes or challenges you have had?

We also have S4S program. Of course, ours is senior dogs. Ours is adotion based and also in house cuddle club for seniors.  Check out our on line questionnaire, after trying out a variety of ideas, we decided to offer it to care givers and family members to fill out if they play a big role in the care.. We have found that seniors need a little more support, so someone that can listen really well is important. We actually enlisted a senior volunteer! this has worked out well for communications. I must say, it is one of our more successful programs after a few hiccups! www.muttville.org
