Hi Folks,
I'm interested in how y'all train your kennel staff. We have a population of dogs that live in our facility while actively going through rehabilitation, and there are quite a few that have triggers that could lead to bites. We have a pretty good training program that we've developed now where our new hires shadow a staff lead for four days while reviewing a long checklist of "must know" items. They also spend time with our behavior team learning about safety and body language. I'm happy with the program but always looking to improve. Do any of you have any best practices we might incorporate?
