Hi I'm Steve. I just moved to Oklahoma City. I had a dog behavior center in Austin, TX for several years, mainly working with extremely fearful dogs and dogs needing socialization with other dogs and humans. I gave that up a few years ago to work at some shelters on the east coast. Most recently I drove from DC to California to care for and help find solutions for dogs left over on Steffen Baldwin's ranch after his arrest. Now I'm in OKC and trying to figure out how to best use my skills to help long-stay behavior dogs in shelters/rescues. I have all sorts of systems I've created for matchmaking, running playgroups, and removing barriers to adoption that I think could be useful.  I've signed up to volunteer at local shelters, but thought this might be a good place to connect with other OKC-ers in the rescue community!
