We are in the same situation - but we have 47+ kittens needing homes and the area shelters are full, and the surrounding areas are also over run with kittens - looking for any place within a 200 or 300 mile radius of Kansas City to transfer them to - if you know of some places taking in kittens - PLEASE let us know! Try no adoption fees.  We have been doing that for a long time and it works.  We only charge for Rabies vaccination and License fee if they live in the city of Oshkosh.  No adoption fees!  I feel if you advertise that people will be running to your shelter.  I know it cuts into income but a life is worth it.

Do you spay/neuter your no-fee kittens or provide a low-cost vet service? This is the one expense many people cannot afford.

Hi:  We do spay/neuter all of our kittens, cats and dogs before adoption.  It is so important to us to get them adopted that we do not charge for the spay/neuter of any of our animals.  Our kittens stay in foster until they weight 2 pounds, are spayed/neutered and then put on the adoption floor.
