We have two things we have introduced/ are introducing to remove barriers Post adoption support - we have a traditional adoption survey, but we now contact adopters directly within a week to ask how the cat is settling into their new home; any behavioral issues, or questions we can help with. One of the barriers we can remove is cost. We can have more adoption events, especially for cats, with a lowered cost or waived adoption fee.
