Date
November 22, 2024
8:00 AM - 4:30 PM
Location
Nutmeg Spay/Neuter Clinic
626 Surf Ave
Stratford, CT 06615
Brief Description
To provide didactic and wet lab training to veterinarians in high-quality, high-volume feline spay/neuter techniques and procedures, in order to increase access and affordability of this service to low-income, low-resource populations in Connecticut. Trained spay-neuter professionals, using specific anesthetic protocols and surgical techniques, can spay and neuter dozens of cats a day, providing a vital service to Connecticut's underserved cat owning households.
This course has been approved for 8.5 hours of CE by the Connecticut Veterinary Medical Association Continuing Education Committee.
Feel free to share with any veterinarians you may know in Connecticut who'd like to take advantage of this opportunity!
The goal of these wet labs is to help increase spay/neuter capacity by equipping more veterinarians with the safest, most efficient surgical techniques available. More information about the HQHVSN Wet Lab program at United Spay Alliance is
available here.
