We teach a TNR101 and then TNR Boots on the Ground twice a year at a local Community College. The cost is $10 per person and I actually think that is a deterrant to attendance. Although, after promoting it and offering scholarships, we had 6 people in our last course. We teach the course outside and and engage others in it. We are still looking to up our game with materials and other than what we use with the College, that is the only advertising that we do at this time. I just started a non-profit and we will be doing more in this space.
Having been in the white collar leadership space for 35+ years, I might suggest that there are a lot of words in the handouts. I'm not sure who your audience is, but might suggest smaller or a reduce amount of words in handouts. As soon as I get my hands on the actual content I'll be sure to share. We're also trying to expand into local law enforcement arenas and teach officers about it and why we do it!

Are you teaching a TNR class? Mind sharing your materials/outline? I teach a free TNR class twice a month. We average 6 people per class. It's truly wonderful that people are willing to give up two hours to learn how to help kitties!
For the class: we email and handout materials, show people how to set regular and drop traps, give lots of TNR tips and tricks.
I'm hoping to enhance my training materials with some ideas from others. My class notes are attached. It's a word file. Feel free to use if you'd like. Obviously, the spay/neuter options are location specific, but the rest is pretty generic. We email more detailed info to each student, like the actual ordinances.
TIA!
