Hello!
We are rebuilding our barn volunteer program and I am curious what other protocols, restrictions, and trainings, that other shelters require in order for volunteers to interact directly with the animals.
We are also looking to educate our volunteers on the long-term mental and behavioral effects that neglect and abuse can have on a horse. Does anyone have any videos or online training that cover this subject? We would prefer it to be in video form as we could add it into our barn volunteer orientation presentation.
