Doors Wide Open! How to Multiply Existing Donor Dollars for Veterinary Care in Your Community

  • 1.  Doors Wide Open! How to Multiply Existing Donor Dollars for Veterinary Care in Your Community

    Posted 03-26-2025 03:55 PM

In this session on Earth Day, April 22nd, we'll share the statistics that describe the crisis in accessing veterinary care from a credit and cash-flow perspective and offer practical solutions to help pet families pay for veterinary care over time, at your clinic or with clinics in your community using financial tools available in the marketplace.

We'll share research that demonstrates that these expanded payment options offer the ability to multiple donor (or discount) dollars by 14.5, turning $100,000 into $1,450,000 of veterinary care in your community among clients unlikely to qualify for common payment tools such as CareCredit while enabling you to best target limited dollars to the cases that most need them, expanding care overall and keeping clinics working to provide accessible care sustainable.

We'll share early insights into current research underway with three leading non-profit organizations providing veterinary care and what impact a leveraged donor fund with expanded payment options has been on clients and what we see in terms of preventing negative outcomes, such as economic euthanasia and foregoing care. We'll share the sustainability this offers to the clinic and expanding access to care in your community.

Do you offer expanded payment options? Do you enable clients to pay back a fund lent out for care? Do you use Varidi(R) or VetBilling or other tools that don't require a credit check? Share in the discussion and let's build solutions and community in expanding care. Hope to see you on 4/22! Warmly, Heather
