Hello everyone,
I am seeking information on the emergency plans that shelters and rescues have established, particularly concerning cats. My organization currently has around 80 free-roaming cats housed in separate rooms, and we are exploring the most effective strategies to assist them in the event of a fire. Given that not all cats can be easily handled, we believe that attempting to place all of them into carriers, pillowcases, or similar items with just 2 to 3 people present would be quite challenging. Therefore, if there are any emergency plans that do not involve using pillowcases or carriers, or if there is any research supporting the use of carriers/pillowcases, please share your insights!
