I need help immediately. We need to flood the members of the Orange County Commission as well as the Governor's office... text,  call, email, tweet....this happens In 2 days....

We always fight the puppy mills after the damage is done. But how often do you get a chance to do something before it opens?

    A friend sent me this:
Commercial Puppy Production Facility in Orange County

A property owner in Orange County has requested a Special Zoning Exception to build a 5,000 square foot metal building to house dozens of dogs for breeding. His operations were in Canada, but he wants to relocate to Orlando Florida. He will have 10 different breeds of dogs from Yorkies to Golden Retrievers. Most of the dogs will be females of course. The dogs will live inside a metal building where the public is not allowed. We all know how this will impact rescue groups, animal controls, humane societies, responsible breeders and most importantly the mommy and daddy dogs who will supposedly be granted 30 minutes a day outside in a yard that is 1/44th of an acre. The Orange County Zoning Staff has recommended to the Orange County Board of Zoning Adjustment that this be approved. The Board of Zoning Adjustment will decide May 4th. WE CAN STOP THIS. We need your help. 1) Show up on May 4th wearing a red shirt. The local news and Zoning Board need to see that we don't want this. 2) If you are an Orange County Resident, voice your disapproval of Commercial Kennel Case #SE23-02-152 by emailing BZAnotices@ocfl.net and calling  407-836-8181, press 0. LET'S DO THIS!
