    Hello everyone!

    My name is Jackson Cox, and I work for a homeless shelter in Tulsa, Oklahoma. We have an animal kennel for our sheltered and unsheltered clients, and we are looking for some funding opportunities to improve our kennel.

    Hi Jackson, I recommend you check with Red Rover and My Dog is My Home. In addition, My Dog is My Home hosts an annual online conference in March that is always full of great information. They have just started registration for next year's conference and they usually have full and partial scholarship opportunities if finances are tight.

    Hi Connie,

    I hope all is well in your world! I work at the Tulsa Day Center and we are the only shelter in Tulsa that provides services to clients with pets. We have a policy that clients can come in with a pet if they have proof of vaccination, which we will help them get that set up. We don't allow clients who stay for overnight shelter to get a pet if they didn't already have one, but we do allow clients that already had pets to receive overnight shelter.  Our kennel has really come in handy over the past year. If you are ever in Tulsa, we'd love to show you around the Day Center.

    Hi Jackson, I write grants for our cat rescue near Memphis and have had substantial success subscribing to Grant Gopher.  It is very reasonably-priced and if you give them the perimeters you want they will narrow down the grants you may be eligible for.  Tulsa has a number of significant foundations and wealth.  I would strongly suggest you approach the Community Foundation to see if any Donor-Advised Funds are interested in animal welfare.  Wishing you much success!
