Animal Welfare Professionals

I'm just wondering if anyone has gotten this certification, what your experience was, and if you felt it was worth the time and money. I'm considering pursuing it, but I want to be sure it's something that'll add value before I commit.

I'm also curious to hear from someone who has the Shelter certification! I'd love to hear about the application process and what knowledge you need to pass the exam. 

I have a supporting membership with the IAABC and I intend to get a behaviour consulting certification with them, so I can share my experience with the organization as a whole. I'm very impressed with the knowledge, skills, and compassion demonstrated by IAABC members, and the educational courses and conferences I've completed through the IAABC have been incredibly helpful and insightful. I would imagine that the Shelter Behavior Affiliate certification would be held to similar standards as their other memberships, which would make it an excellent title to earn.
