Joining forces to help rescues with emergency care

    Hi Everybody,

Our foundation supports families who are financially constrained when their pet needs immediate medical assistance.

    Our grants are two tier:

Initial Care - Medical issues being assessed for diagnosis (ER fees and diagnostics, labwork/imaging), Max $500

Critical Care - Existing diagnosis needing immediate treatment (Hospitalization/ICU and treatments/medications), Max $5k/up to 50% of estimate

I've been meeting with a lot of rescues recently and have discussed a grant program that can directly assist them with emergency care. There seems to be consistent pattern of agreement that there is a gap in communication between veterinary staff and rescue organizations. I worked in ER and ICU for six years and both of our program directors are veterinary nurses - specializing in ER, surgery and rescue. We have seen the consequences of a lack of communication and resources first hand. We genuinely believe in joining forces to be of resource wherever we can be.

Our foundation is readily scalable with the simplicity of our application process/fund disbursement SOP.  We are based in Connecticut, registered in New York, Delaware and will be onboarding a veterinary nurse in Massachusetts in a few months. I'd love to hear thoughts and input from more rescues!

I'd be happy to set up a time to meet as well - the goal is to help as many people as we can.
