What does your shelter use for laundry - detergent and bleach, just detergent, etc?

We use all the standard stuff, but have started to add 1/4 cup of white vinegar (a grandma hack) to help eliminate odors. It works like a charm.  Just add it in the detergent slot together with your liquid detergent. We've started buying vinegar by the case from Sam's.

We are veterinary clinic, not a shelter, but we use detergent, bleach and Odoban.

"Mixing bleach and vinegar can create chlorine gas, which is toxic. It's not recommended to wash a load of laundry that includes bleach and vinegar together."

"Vinegar and laundry detergent do not typically react with each other in a negative way. Rather, they can complement each other's cleaning properties. The acidity of vinegar can help break down certain stains and odors, while laundry detergent provides the cleaning power to remove dirt and grime."

At least that's what I've always heard and what is on a zillion Google posts.
