Animal Welfare Professionals

AWOIP has informed me that none of the insurance companies they work with will insure any rescue who allows a person to take a dog as a foster with the intent to adopt.  ie. Foster to adopt.  

I am struggling finding insurance now.  Any recommendations?  We are a small, all volunteer run organization.  We do not have a facility.

-They offer insurance to shelters and individuals alike. 

Insureon

-It looks like they'll work with you to find the best insurance for your organization. 

Gateway Specialty Insurance

-Offers insurance to rescues, humane societies, shelters, etc.

XInsurance

-Animal shelter insurance opportunities.

Can you change the language so you don't have any official foster to adopt, but only foster and/or adopt? Even dogs that don't go to a foster who plans to adopt often are adopted by that person. And sometimes fosters who are planning to adopt don't.

I don't think it matters what it is called.  If a foster takes in a dog with the intent to adopt, the insurance will no longer cover the organization.
