  • 1.  Looking for ideas to incorporate volunteers in foster program

    We have a foster program and volunteer program.  My fosters are volunteering for various activities outside of fostering so I'm looking for ways to incorporate volunteers into the foster program.  So far I have providing rides for appointments and meet/greets, handling at events and providing adoption updates through email management.  Other ideas?

    How about: delivery of supplies to the foster homes -- food, litter, etc.; manage the scheduling of neuter appointments; assisting foster homes with deep cleaning between intakes.

    Happen to have a simple template your fosters use to do write ups that seems to "make the sale"?  Not everyone is a great writer and I'd love to  have them standardized.
