I wanted to share a new resource from the ASPCA that may be of interest to organizations working to keep pets and people together.
The Animal Needs Assessment Tool (ANAT) was developed to help animal welfare organizations identify and better understand the needs of pet owners seeking assistance from a community-based animal welfare program. By using a structured assessment approach, organizations can more effectively connect families with appropriate services and support, helping address barriers before they lead to pet relinquishment.
