Does anyone else have concerns about the listings on Petfinder and Adopt-a-Pet? I have noticed over the past couple of years that there seems to be a tremendous amount of "rescues" that are suspicious in my mind. It's almost like Craigslist now with so many scammers and illegitimate organizations, puppy mills posing as rescues, etc. it's very disheartening because the average person looking to adopt is not aware of these scams. Is there anything that can be done
