Our organization provides a link to the dog on Petfinder. But potential adopters do ask for how they find out about dogs/cats in their area. I like to point them to Petfinder, then explain how it works. So, that got me thinking…Does Petfinder have any printable flyers or downloadable material that explains how Petfinder works, including how to use search filters, etc.? After contacting them, the answer is now. The Engagement Specialist (Vince) stated that he would share that suggestion to the team for future consideration. I was a bit surprised.
I was wondering if there are any material or any flyers you have utilized in the past around Petfinder. I would like to utilize as a hand-out for our events this year. If a potential adopter does not want to get on a waiting list for non-profits or if they are looking for a certain breed, age, size or sex, I want to advise them to go to Petfinder vs a breeder.
