We had this pup years ago! Fecal and urinary release was very close together, leading to chronic UTIs. There was kind of a channel where a penis should have gone and part of a sheath but it was all empty. One of the vets who did the exam adopted him/her. They did a modified PU-type surgery to move the urinary opening and did a spay/neuter - a tiny uterus was present as well as some tiny testes. Fascinating case and really sweet dog!
