The Best Friends 2024 National Data Report is out, and shows us at a turning point in lifesaving. After four years of declines, we are starting to see no-kill programming stabilize lifesaving, with a curve turning in the right direction. Nearly 2 out of 3 shelters are now no-kill, with hundreds more within reach of that goal. But we are still facing real challenges, too, particularly for dogs.
