Hello everyone, I work in a shelter as a kennel attendant, and I recently watched the webinar on the quiet shelter study. I think it was very insightful but the problem with implanting that at our shelter is that our runs are not open to the public and you can only see our dogs through a glass window. So, it made me ponder some other ideas as I have noticed a lot of people are put off by our dogs barking and it lessens their chance of getting adopted, I pitched the idea of tinting the windows so people could see our dogs but the dogs did not feel like they were on display or being stared at. Has anyone tried this? if so, how did it go? or what are people's opinions on this idea? our windows are about hip level so the tint would not be in the direct line of the dog's sight. Thank you!
