Our sanctuary just completed it's second annual golf outing fundraiser. One of our silent auction donors asked us for a donor acknowledgement letter. This is the first time we've been asked for this by a donor.  Does anyone have a template for one that they would like to share?

I have attached  a letter we used to acknowledge Sponsors for our annual walkathon. Perhaps you can edit it to fit your needs?

A great tool I have discovered is DonorPerfect - an AI assisted means to help non-profits create effective communications with their followers/donors. It is absolutely free for use by any non-profit.

I have an A5 design with a photo of a kitten and  text over, with the italic text being updated for the kitten in the photo - I try and refresh those each year.  In fact, need to do that again. The donor is sent it as a PDF. These have been really well received.

If it needs a more personalised touch, I write a fuller letter on the back, take off the 'with love & purrs' from front and put on back.
