I'm thinking about creating a newsletter to email periodically and am looking for fun, captivating design ideas. I use Canva for some things, but I seem to only be able to save my designs as pictures, so I'm not able to personalize them unless I want to change the design every time. Does anyone have any templates or websites they use to embed a newsletter into an email, that can be easily tailored to each individual?

I use ConvertKit for newsletters. It's an email marketing platform. I important images into it to customize it. I can also categorize recipients if I want, say, donors, to get a different version. But it only uses images that I import. I can't change the images in it.

I use Canva too. I create basic templates where I can swap out pictures or change the copy easily. But once I download it stuck with that image, unless I go back and change it in Canva.

We use mailchimp.com It is free for up to 1000 emails per month and prices go up based on the number of emails you send each month. The free templates are basic but work well for us. It keeps track of analytics like open rates and you can create landing pages, surveys and more.

I use both Canva to create graphics and then use Constant Contact.  TechSoup has a discount for nonprofits for Constant Contact.  It's template driven so pretty user-friendly.

    Good afternoon everyone!

We also use Canva to create graphics for all of our social/marketing efforts. For newsletter and large scale communication, we use Mailchimp!
