Humane Education Check-In: What's Working?

  • 1.  Humane Education Check-In: What's Working?

    Hi all!

Faunalytics recently published 'Tactics in Practice: The Data Behind Humane Education,' which invites us to reflect on the goals of humane education and what's working. Join us on 𝗠𝗮𝗿𝗰𝗵 𝟮𝟱, 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲 𝗮𝘁 𝟭𝟮 𝗽.𝗺. 𝗘𝗧 as the Institute for Humane Education hosts a community session to explore those questions together.

We'll focus on the "Tips for Effective Humane Education" section, inviting reflections, examples, and insights from your experience in classrooms, programs, and advocacy spaces. This will be a conversational call-an opportunity to step back from the pace of our work and consider how the research resonates with your own practice.

You're encouraged to read the full article beforehand, but we'll review the relevant section together on the call.

Contributors to the article include leaders from HEART (Humane Education Advocates Reaching Teachers), LEAP (Leaders for Ethics, Animals, and the Planet), New Roots Institute, and the Institute for Humane Education-and we may be joined by some of these collaborators for the conversation. We look forward to learning together and exploring what effective humane education looks like in practice today.

    Join us! ➡️ RSVP HERE.
