    Hi everyone, so is everyone on this page just working with cats and dogs or are there a few people that work with other species?

    I just joined and I'm very interested to meet more animal rescuers.

    I run a multi species animal sanctuary so while we work with cats and dogs, we also work with more exotic animals as well.

    Hi Tabby, so glad to connect with you! I do not rescue. But have worked for the welfare of animals farmed for food, wildlife advocacy, and companion animals. I would love to keep this conversation going.

    I'd love to work with farm animals, I work with companion animals and non-protected wildlife such as mice, European Starlings, ribbon snakes, and even invertebrates such as crayfish and insects.

    In fact we're one of the only few places in Michigan that works with insects, we do even go out of our way to work with monarch butterflies and bumblebees as they are endangered and they're one of the very roots of all life.

    This is amazing work! 

    This morning while I was walking my pup, I ran into a butterfly on the ground. Unfortunately, it was dead. I was so sad for the poor baby. 

    We need more folks like you protecting our pollinators. ��������
