Has anyone gone through the process for retro-fitting the old Shor-Line stainless steel cat housing units with Kat Portals? I'd love to hear how you navigated that AND what the approximately cost per portal addition was. We have 20+ year old Shor-Lines in our cat receiving space that are definitely not up to standards of care sizing for today. We're definitely not in a spot where we could afford to replace them all, but I'm curious about adding portals as an option (essentially turning them into "doubles" when needed).
I'd love to connect with someone who has gone through that process so I can improve my "pitch" about adding these (and figure out what kind fo fundraising might be needed).
