Hi Scott,

I came across your post from a while back regarding Shelterluv and accounting reports for government agencies. It looked like you never received any responses, so I was curious: Did Williamson County Animal Center end up moving forward with a platform, and if so, which one did you choose?

Also, looking back on the decision now, are you happy with where you landed, or are there things you wish your current system handled better?

Always interested in hearing what agencies are using and what's working well (or not working well) in the real world.

My department is a county operated shelter and animal control. We have been using ShelterLuv for about 1.5 years now. We do not use their payment system, even though I think it would make it much more effective for us. Our county already had been using Square and did not want to stray away from it so ShelterLuv did work with us on that.

I love the features that it has, and they are always improving which is super helpful. We are an individual department and not apart of the Sheriffs Department. So we do not get to be dispatched like some places. People call the Shelter to report animal complaints. So the Field/Services area is super beneficial and I love that you can always have case information when you need it. It links the report to people, animals, address everything.
